His fifth album recorded and released in 1979 is classic JJ Cale; laid back, mid-paced groove and that distinctive soft singing style. So many people were influenced by JJ, not least Eric Clapton but his records didn't sell in huge numbers. He had 8 charting album and this one peaked at #136 on the Billboard chart
