A beautiful antique Victorian bangle fashioned in 9ct gold during the late 19th Century. The band wraps around to form two large hooks at the front with six pearls and scrolling motifs on either side.
It’s held securely around the wrist by a heart padlock clasp which were often gifted as a romantic token in the Victorian era, symbolising love and commitment.
It’s a wonderful design and has developed a lovely smooth touch and rosy patina with age.
