A colourful Antique Suffragette ring from the early 20th Century claw set with large green Peridots and violet Amethysts with small twinkling Diamonds nestled in between.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The ring is all 18ct Yellow Gold with lovely scrolls engraved on the shoulders. It’s a wonderful piece of history and in excellent condition.
